Last week Samsung ran its second Futurescape technology showcase in London promoting how the travel and transportation industry will increasingly use modern devices and software. Zafire are proud to have been invited along by Samsung to showcase their latest ‘passenger’ innovations.

What did we showcase? 

Personalised passenger wayfinding with embedded advertising  FirstLight is a ground breaking signage display solution delivered on the Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP) designed to:

With FirstLight passengers can take control of the screen, using any smart device, to view information specific and relevant to their requirements.  Whether that’s – ‘show me where to get a coffee on the way to my departure gate’ or ‘remind me what the security rules are before I get there so I don’t hold up the queue’.  Information can be transferred to the smart device and taken away by the passenger, automatic updates keep the passenger informed, at all times, of any changes to their itinerary – no need to find a traditional FIDS board or listen out for the tannoy anymore!
