Working with airport industry partners Zafire and Ikusi, Samsung will deliver information display solutions to airports around the world
Samsung’s Smart Signage Platform (SSSP) makes airport displays easier to install and more convenient to maintain and update while offering lower TCO
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., today announced two strategic partnerships to deliver real-time information display solutions to the airport industry. Through agreements with leading systems integrators and IT resellers in the airport sector including Zafire Group and Ikusi, Samsung display solutions will provide differentiated, compelling and innovative commercial displays to airports around the world. The company’s airport solutions will be on display at the Zafire (#1420) and Ikusi (#1250) booths at the 2014 Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE) today through Thursday at the Fira in Barcelona, Spain.
Samsung delivers total display solutions for airports, eliminating the need for an external PC and enabling real-time updates that save time and make for easy installation and maintenance. Their slim, lightweight design makes them easy to install and reliable, while 24/7 operability makes the displays optimized for total airport display solutions. Equipped with the Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP), there is no need for external media players, allowing for a streamlined deployment process. In addition, by integrating directly with the Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) used by airports through the SSSP, Samsung’s displays can deliver real-time flight arrival and departure data, saving time and money while lowering TCO for the airport.
