Airport Baggage Reclaim Carousel Slats, Airport Escalator & Elevator Wheels/Rollers

BMP Europe have developed and brought to market a new ultra low friction Polyurethane material called “Uraskate” which it is now utilized in our baggage reclaim carousel slats.
Listening to our customers requirements, “Uraskate” was formulated by our in house chemists to provide a low Coefficient of friction material which reduces the load on the carousel drive motor. This reduced load in turn reduces power consumption, maintenance and operating costs which was a key requirement for our customers.

“Uraskate” also has improved dust shedding and zero bag marking properties while being high Abrasion resistant and fire retardant. We can also make “Uraskate” material in a variety of colours (Slats don’t have to be black)!
