Professional Approach to Bird Control

Birds adapt to new challenges in their environment. A successful bird control for airports must take this into account.  TONI has introduced a multi-product approach to professional bird control. “Why do birds roost around an airport? How do we alter the grounds to be less attractive for birds?”

Our habitat management programme addresses these issues. To control birds we are combining acoustic and visual methods, natural predator birds and other products. This combination is crucial for reducing the habituation, birds often reappear when one single control method is utilized.

As ICAO notes, it is not possible to keep an airport free of birds at all times. This is why preventive measures are important. Furthermore, latest radar technology allows monitoring, evaluating, and the ability to classify bird risk posed on an aircraft. This is the crown of bird control and the core principle of BASH-Management.

Handheld Bird Control Laser

Birds perceive light of 532nm wavelength very well. When they are hit by the laser light or when they see it waving above them. This triggers a flight reaction.
The laser pistol is absolutely safe for humans. It is classified as Laser class II. However, we still do not recommend pointing it at pedestrians, since it might scare them.

Airports, marinas, harbors, building facilities, landfill sites, agriculture, vineyards, gardens, fish farms, and etc.
