Part of the Astrophysics Inc medium range of x-ray threat detection equipment the XIS-5878 makes up part of the Totalpost threat inspection and detection range.

This Transportation Security Administration (TSA) qualified conveyer x-ray threat detection system is ideal for use in airports, government facilities and sites which require the security inspection of heavy parcels.

The XIS-5878 x-ray inspection system has tunnel dimensions of 575 x 781 mm (22.6” x 30.8”). It features a low conveyor height of 300 mm (1 ft) to expedite the loading and unloading of screening objects.

The XIS-5878 has unmatched efficiency in a compact frame. This machine supports 165 kg (363 lbs) and includes a standard 160 kV generator that can be upgraded to a 180 kV generator for increased penetration capabilities.

With a convenient conveyor height and high performance technology, the Astrophysics XIS-5878 is ideal for sites where screening of wheeled or heavy objects is required.
