Ideal for the screening of small to medium sized objects the XIS-6545 is the first product ever manufactured by Astrophysics and is known for its reliability, ease of use, versatility across many environments and its effective threat detection.

The XIS-6545 has a tunnel opening of 651 x 454 mm (25.6” x 17.9”) ideal for the screening of small to medium sized objects.

The XIS-6545 is one of the most versatile security threat inspection and detection machines on the market ideal for use in court, prisons, hospitals, and airport checkpoints to practically any security screening location.

It has a standard 160 kV generator, and is also available for upgrade to a 180 kV generator.

Like all x-ray threat detection equipment in the Astrophysics range, the XIS-6545 features unique 6 colour imaging enabling operators to view screened objects in 6 colours. Each colour correlates to a specific range of Atomic Z-Numbers. 6 colour imaging allows screening operatives to achieve optimal material identification and improve throughput with more effective screening technology.
