Since we first launched this at IFSEC 2015, we have since made a change, but nothing major. As you’ll see from the picture, the panels are now placed much higher up the unit, which we’ve found increases light absorption.

The Solarguard RD is a wireless CCTV solution designed for mobile deployment where mains power or fixed wired communication are not available. The system operates on self-generated solar power using the attached PV panels on the trailer making it the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution on the market.

The system can accommodate a choice of cameras on a user friendly hydraulic mast that can be extended up to 6 metres. The trailer offers both local recording as well as 3G/4G remote connectivity (optional), whereby control rooms can remotely access footage from miles away if a movement alarm is triggered.
