Airport Cluster Finland is a Cluster Program Related to Aviation and Airport Technologies

Airport Concepts development initiative exhibited at Passenger Terminal Expo 2012 in Vienna 18-20th April. Airport Concepts had a joint stand shared between the 16 companies participating in the initiative.  In addition to Airport Concepts team, there were representatives from seven different companies present at the stand introducing their products and services and the Airport Concepts turnkey solutions.   

The main purpose of the fair participation was to introduce and promote the three service packages (Airport Development, Winter Conditions Solutions and Airside Solutions) for the first time and gather feedback, for example, from potential customers and possible complementor companies. The reception of the service concepts was rather positive and the whole concept-way-of- thinking seemed to be very interesting to many fair visitors.

The Airport Concepts stand was located conveniently next to the dining area and the Skytrax award area, and there was a nice flow of traffic passing the stand throughout the three-day event.

Overall, Airport Concepts team as well as the co-exhibitiors were very satisfied with the fair participation. It provided an excellent opportunity to raise interest towards Airport Concepts and to promote the Finnish airport expertise. Also, the team managed to collect an impressive amount of important contacts, with whom it is possible to continue cooperation in the future.
