Airport Electric / Green / Low Cost Vehicles for Airfields

Since 2008, Catecar SA has invested resources as well as energy to create a vehicle that comes up to today's expectations regarding mobility, environment and public health.

The "Swiss Green High Tech Urban Vehicle" project is to include green high-tech into a light, non-polluting, affordable vehicle, in order to suit actual transportation daily needs (50% of vehicles in the world travel less than 20 km per day), by relying notably on the extraordinary innovative skills of Swiss research centers and universities.

For this, Catecar will lean on the tremendous innovation abilities of Swiss Universities and Research centers. The state-of-the-art technologies integrated into the Catecar vehicle will make it easy to be built, used and repaired.

Beyond its obvious ecological aspects, our concept also promotes actively social and economical sustainability. The Catecar vehicle meets the demand of the public but also of local communities, companies and public administrations that would like to change their way of consumption and contribute to reduce the environmental impact generated by current transportation solutions.

In producing and selling locally, in opening itself to small shareholders wishing to take part to a true industrial project, Catecar wishes to create tight bonds with local communities.

The Catecar concept and vision go beyond the making of a new kind of Electric Vehicle: it is a true community project that will favour energetic self-sufficiency.
