Bradshaw Electric Vehicles, Britain’s largest manufacturer of industrial electric vehicles, supplied Heathrow Terminal 2 with an electric vehicle to ensure waste and recycling is not delayed.

The PT50 Pedestrian Controlled vehicle was supplied to ISS World, one of the world’s leading Facility Services companies. ISS World specialise in providing the full range of facility services to public agencies and private sector companies across a wide range of markets.

ISS World put the new Bradshaw vehicle in to Terminal 2 to move waste and recycling from storage to compactors, ready for collection. Reducing manual handling and safety were key priorities for the facilities management company, ensuring that stringent safety requirements were met and the manual handling risk minimised.

A three-wheel vehicle, Bradshaw’s PT50 pedestrian controlled vehicle has great maneuverability to tackle the airport environment safely. With a payload capacity of 500kg, it was the perfect solution for moving portable wheelie bins, ensuring the job is both quicker and safer.
