Boon Edam introduces Optical Security Barrier to their Speedlane Security Access range.

Royal Boon Edam Group Holding B.V., having developed one of the most sophisticated ranges of Security Access products available today, announce the worldwide launch of the new barrier-free Optical Turnstile, Speedlane Optical 2048..

Speedlane Optical 2048 combines security with high style, providing an open, inviting and unobtrusive Security Access solution. The Optical Security Barrier utilises an intelligent multi-beam detection system creating an invisible security barrier between the units, authorising the passage of every pedestrian entering and exiting a building or supervised area.

The elliptical stainless steel units of the Speedlane Optical 2048 are complimentary to every building interior while creating a deterrent to intruders. An integrated authorisation system, accompanied by an LCD user instruction screen, determines user access. When unauthorised access or a security breach is detected, audible and visible alarms are activated.
