Gunnebo has now also passed the PAS variant at a higher energy load achieving a PAS68 rating for a 7.5T vehicle impacting at 50mph (80kmh).

This gate was the first for an enlarged seven meters wide opening having an anti-climb facility to be tested at this level and thus is suitable for deterring unauthorised access by personnel as well as having a considerable anti-ram feature for vehicles – thus fulfilling the requirement of two standard products.

The TG M50 has already been installed at sites of Critical National Infrastructure globally and at Custodial Facilities in the UK with its shallow foundation being advantageous.

We can also announce that Rolls Royce has contracted Gunnebo to secure one of their UK premises where a suitably wide certified product was required and the Gunnebo TG M50 was the only PAS68 tested product that could achieve this enhanced width.

The Gunnebo TG M50 is the only gate to have both ASTM (DOS K12) & PAS 68 compliance at this enlarged opening width which requires a full size physical test.

This test was undertaken as part of the UK Government sponsored testing programme and conforms to the latest PAS68 certification where “static / design calculations” are not permitted at this width without a physical test to gain accreditation.
