From internationally renowned sports venues, to airports and highways in the world’s leading cities, Abacus lighting solutions are spanning the globe in ever increasing numbers.

Overseas orders now account for almost half of Abacus’ sales and the company was recently awarded an International Trade Award and visited by HRH Duke of York as part of his role supporting UK companies overseas.

Abacus opened a new purpose-built sales and manufacturing facility in Shanghai earlier this year. Last year it opened a new business in Russia, and the Abacus Group has established sales offices, distributors and agents on most continents including the Middle East, South East Asia, Australasia, Africa and the Caribbean. 

Recent high profile projects include The Faldo golf course in Dubai, airport lighting at Xian in China and projects ahead of the winter Olympics at Sochi in Russia.

The company are currently targeting opportunities to expand into further emerging markets and have taken the decision to rebrand to reflect this growth strategy. The new logo design uses the strapline, “Abacus World Leaders in Lighting”.
