AEOS, developed by Nedap, is the first security management platform that implemented the Standard Offline Access Application (SOAA) and is therefore nominated for the GIT Award in category D – Access, Intrusion and Perimeter control. The new standard SOAA for electronic offline access control products ensures that authorisations for access are written on Mifare cards at any designated online card reader, using a standard protocol. And by using this standard protocol, AEOS allows you to work with offline locks from a large variety of manufacturers. Authorisations and lock settings for all offline locks can be configured in AEOS. And all events taking place at the locks, such as battery notifications, are directly fed into AEOS and can be viewed in the AEOS application.

Integration of the SOAA standard in AEOS offers you total freedom of choice. Nedap is the first in the market that applies this standard, therefore it is now possible to mix and match offline locks out of a wide range of products from different suppliers.
