Oxford Airport

In July 2008 AIS installed a system at Oxford Airport. The system comprised of Airport Landing Dues Information System (ALDIS 2000) linked to the Pegasus accounting system and Cash and Fuel Invoicing, part of the AFIDS 2001 suite of programs.

Oxford Airport ordered the systems after being impressed by the systems in operation at Gloucestershire Airport.

 

Glasgow Prestwick International Airport

GPIA have ordered Security Sentinel. The system will be installed to handle web boarding passes. The system will also have a fail safe option which will allow the reading of web boarding passes even if there is no connection with the server. An XML version of the FIDS upload data has been installed to cater for the new  ITV digital teletext service.

 

Cardiff Airport

AIS has installed a specific suite of programs to allow the ALDIS 2000 system to communicate and upload  financial data to the airport’s owners SAP accounting system located in Barcelona, Spain.

 

ALDIS User Group

The 2009 ALDIS USER GROUP will be hosted by Oxford Airport. Both the CAA and NATS will attend.

 

Ireland West Airport Knock

The airport has awarded a contract to AIS for the supply of all of AIS’s systems. ALDIS 2000 will supply management information as well as aeronautical billing with a link to the Access accounting system. Billing will be carried out in Euro and tailored to meet the VAT requirements of Eire. AFIDS 2001 will handle  check-in desk, gate, carousel ,arrival and departure landside and airside information on a range of Conrac 32” and 40” TFT LCD displays. The system will display remarks in both English and Gaelic. Fuel and Cash invoicing will also be installed allowing Ireland West Airport Knock to create cash invoices for any size of commercial or private aircraft. Security Sentinel, AIS’s web and kiosk boarding card reading system will be installed at the departure lounge security check point. Arrival and departure information will be uploaded to the Ireland West Airport Knock’s website.

PRM Handling

Cardiff ,Exeter Airports and H&I  have installed an upgrade to ALDIS 2000 to handle the new PRM Handling Charge which came into effect in 2008.
