Pteris Global is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract of SGD 17 million to design and build the baggage handling system (BHS) for Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan.
This is the second project awarded to us after our successful completion of another project in the existing terminal. Our work for this new airport terminal, designed to handle 9 million passengers per annum, is to design, build, install and commission the arrival and departure systems.
This includes a complete integration of hold bag security screening system and high-level control software systems. The project is scheduled to be handed over at end of year 2011.
