NACO presented a check for €5,000 to the EBOO Foundation in Kenya. This foundation offers about 160 children from Kibera (Nairobi) and surrounding areas the opportunity to go to school. The donations to the foundation will benefit 100% of the project.

These revenues are used up to and including high school to provide school fees, books and uniforms for underprivileged children in Kibera (Nairobi). The children are expected to attend school and perform properly. If this does not happen then the foundation will go in consultation with parents and school to find out the reason.

Fenneke Dijkema, who heads the project, has been living in Nairobi together with her husband Wim since 2009. He is working for NACO on the expansion of the international airport JKIA – Nairobi. Fenneke works with 15 volunteers on a non-profit basis for this foundation. Costs incurred for the foundation are privately funded.
