Airport Master Planning/ Facility Planning & Design/ Infrastructure Planning & Design

Company NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants
Date 01.07.2015

It is with great thanks for his dedication that we wish our colleague, Ben Hasselman, Happy Retirement!  After 35 years of travelling the world round for NACO, Ben retired on 30 April 2015.

Just after starting with NACO in 1980 as an airport architect, Ben was stationed in Saudi Arabia for seven years to develop a number of the Kingdom’s airports. Subsequently, he assisted clients in Australia, Bahrain, and the Dutch Caribbean amongst others. Ben headed projects including Sofia Airport Master Plan and New Terminal Building and St. Maarten’s Airport Master Plan and New Terminal Building. A passion for his field earned him various positions within NACO. From senior airport architect & planner to department head, managing director and his latest position, director of business development. Ben's expertise and affinity with clients were also essential to our success in China and Brazil.

Throughout the course of Ben’s career, he shared his expertise and inspired us all and he will dearly be missed. We wish Ben all the best with his retirement endeavours!

Our business development team has big shoes to fill and remains committed to our clients. For opportunities please contact Tiffany Fluent (tiffany.fluent@naco.rhdhv.com) or Mattijs Smith (mattijs.smith@naco.rhdhv.com).
