SAS International, manufacturer of interior fit-out products, is pleased to announce it has developed its System 330 suspended ceiling system to achieve 50dB (Dnfw) room to room attenuation.

Using a 30mm acoustic pad and 12.5mm plasterboard SAS International has achieved the highest acoustic attenuation level by a UK manufactured suspended ceiling system.

50dB is generally considered to be the sound level of a normal office; this new performance level enables clients and specifiers to improve privacy in meeting rooms and modular offices.

SAS International’s metal ceiling systems allow for acoustic versatility. A variety of acoustic backings helps to achieve required results such as high acoustic absorption in open plan offices and high attenuation for the offices and meeting rooms with the same aesthetic finish.
