1.AUXILIARY PUMP ENGINE

Providing full rate discharge of the extinguishing agents (foam, AFFF etc.) when chasing the aircraft while landing. (this is achieved by driving the fire pump with a separate engine).

While the commander is operating accurately the extinguishing agents dispensing controls the diver concentrates on maneuvering and positioning of the crash truck.

2.AIR ASPIRATING FOAM

All foam dispensing units – roof and front bumper turrets/monitors as well as hose reels nozzles – create an extinguishing foam layer that will stick also on vertical areas – this is achieved by adding air to the water/foam mixture expanding the water foam mixture ten (10) folds.

3.EXTENDED STANDBY TIME WHILE THE PUMP OPERATES AT FULL RATE.

An overheating system keeps water temperature low while the water pump is operated in full capacity with closed valves at a standby mode enabling instant extinguishing at the so called “hot fueling” procedure..

4.BEYOND THE AIRPORT BOUNDERIES

Utilizing a 2.5. meters wide chassis enables driving without escort on public roads when needed to operate beyond the airport boundaries. Allows also fast and simple relocation of the crash trucks between airports.

5.COROSION RESISTANCE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM COMPONENTS

The fire pump and related systems, as well as the roof and front bumper turrets/monitors are all made out of bronze – no ore or aluminum components are included in the flow system assuring long term operation.

6.COMPOSITE STRUCTURE CAB AND SUPERSTRUCTURE

The complete body superstructure and cab and body is made out of vacuum injected GRP (Glass fiber Reinforced Polyester).
As such the cab and body are none corrosive. Fire resistance and maintenance free, having a long technical and economic life span.
Vacuum injected GRP is up to 30% lighter then any metal structure.

7.UHPS – ULTRA HIGH PRESSURE FOG INDEPENDENT EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

An independent engine driven ultra high pressure fog extinguishing system is incorporated in the crash truck.
Water is depressed into micro particles at a pressure exceeding 200 bar, turning fire and heat into steam providing an effective extinguishing effect without causing water damage, being an effective replacement to halogenated extinguishing agent.
