The latest model in Kronenburg's renowned line of M.A.C. crashtenders is based on a 4×4, 6×6 or 8×8 chassis.

The bodywork and cabin consist of GRP (Glass fibre Reinforced Polyester) and have been tested and approved by official institutions. GRP is a composite material that is not only fire resistant and corrosion proof. It also weighs less than any conventional material which results in improved acceleration and maneuverability for the vehicle.

A great number of fire fighting systems can be installed, such as water, foam, Dry Chemical Powder, Halotron and Ultra High Pressure systems. Other options like a pilot rescue platform and a decontamination system are available. The cabin provides room for up to 7 crew members or for extra storage space for special equipment.
