Date 28.09.2011

Kronenburg has developed a flexible production process which allows us to build firefighting vehicles according to the specific demands of each end user.

Several types of chassis can be used and a wide variety of firefighting systems and rescue equipment is available. Special attention is given to the crew cabin with regards to quick access, safe transport of personnel and ergonomic storage equipment.

Today, all Kronenburg trucks have a self supporting body and cabin that are made out of GRP (Glass fibre Reinforced Polyester). A lightweight composite material that is fire resistant and corrosion proof. Any damage to the bodywork is easily repaired and these repairs can be done locally at relatively low costs.

Depending on the preferences of the end user a wide variety of firefighting systems can be installed on to the vehicle: water, foam, Dry Chemical Powder or an Ultra High Pressure system. There are also many options for hydraulic rescue equipment, lighting, generators and electrical or hydraulical winches.

The capacity to adapt to the diverse needs of our customers has resulted in a wide range of municipal and urban fire fighting trucks in various sizes and configurations which are currently in active use. The many years of experience in combination with the craftsmanship of a highly skilled staff guarantee high quality and a long lifetime for Kronenburg products.
