Airport Network-Based Video Surveillance Systems

Dallmeier recently exbitited at the inter airport Europe 2015 exhibition in Munich. Giving visitors the opportunity to view their integrated Management solutions for Airport Security.

A highlight at the show was Panomera®. The multifocal sensor system Panomera® stands for a completely new approach in video security technology which particularly offers new possibilities for extensive security of wide areas. Security concepts in various airport areas that were, up to now, either difficult to realize or not feasible can now be implemented efficiently and cost-effectively.

Other security related aspects at airports, such as people counting or crowd detection etc., can also be covered by Dallmeier solutions.

The patented multifocal sensor system Panomera® is a completely new camera technology. Unlike single sensor cameras, Panomera® functions with multiple lenses with different focal lenghts. Therefore large areas and distances can be monitored from a single installation point – in real time with constant resolution, high dynamic and consistent depth of field.

Panomera® is extremely economical in terms of bandwidth: enormously fast data rates are transmitted with very low network burden. With extreme light sensitivity and a wide dynamic range, the camera provides high-quality images even in low-light conditions. The camera conforms to the Onvif standard and can also be integrated in standard management systems.
