Wanzl is already developing the future of international trolley management: the new generation of vending units for supplying luggage trolleys in return for a fee or deposit features an integrated PIN pad for requesting PIN numbers during credit card transactions. The Wanzl vending units therefore already comply with tomorrow's standards, which will apply in many countries in future: business customers and private travellers will be able to collect and use luggage trolleys all over the world without the need for cash by using a credit card and entering a PIN. The verification via the PIN pad means users benefit from secure, encrypted data transfer for international money transfers. Alongside credit cards, payment with notes and coins will still be accepted by the Wanzl vending units. Transition from a deposit to a fee-based system is also possible at any time. Wanzl is equipping all vending units with the new DIMOS software. Therefore, supported by LAN, trolley stocks and trolley movements can be recorded around the clock for optimised trolley provision and financial transactions – and this can be tailored to the individual requirements of the customer.

Four rails – spatial flexibility

Another exclusive advantage of Wanzl vending units is the unique spatial flexibility. A single vending unit can simultaneously operate up to four luggage trolley supply rails. The current market standard is activating a single rail per vending unit. Wanzl offers its customers utmost efficiency by enabling the spatial, variable and needs-based provision of luggage trolleys to suit the amount of space available. The result is massively reduced investment costs and, at the same time, a high amortisation rate.

The Wanzl vending unit for supplying luggage trolleys now also offers data-encrypted and therefore secure credit card payment via a PIN pad.
