Parsons is pleased to announce that Perfecto Solis, Senior Vice President Americas of its Aviation Division, will participate in a panel discussion of the New International Airport of Mexico City (NAICM) at the Passenger Terminal Expo to be held March 10 – 12 in Paris. Mr. Solis will join airport and other consulting colleagues on the panel.

The panel will be held on the second day of the expo, March 11, and will focus on the development of Mexico City’s new airport and the opportunity it provides to build a new 21st century aviation hub. Panelists will discuss their separate interpretations of how the new airport will operate and review this in terms of the physical manifestation of the NAICM. The discussion will center on the strategic role of the project and how collaboration is helping to align business strategies between the aviation community and the project office.

“Parsons is honored to contribute to the creation of this new world-class airport in Mexico City, which will be one of the most sustainable and innovative greenfield airport projects in the Americas,” said Todd Wager, Parsons Group President. “Perfecto is providing key leadership on the NAICM project for Parsons and, with the other expo panelists, will most certainly shed light on the strategic direction of this important aviation endeavor.”

Parsons recently announced that it is providing program management services for the new airport. As prime consultant for NAICM, Parsons is partnered with both FOA Consultores and CH2M HILL for this 6-year contract. Parsons and its partners will provide a wide range of services for Mexico City’s new airport, including program/project management, project controls and contract administration, design management, construction management oversight, operational readiness, and airport transfer.
