Leading UK biometrics company, Human Recognition Systems is delighted to reveal that they have been awarded the AOA ‘Best Innovator’ award at last night’s event.

News of the award comes just two weeks after Human Recognition Systems also scooped the ‘Intellect Innovation’ accolade for their MFlow Journey platform, at the recent Software Satisfaction Awards 2012.

The ‘Best Innovator’ award was awarded by the Airport Operators Association in recognition of Human Recognition Systems’ impressive work at the heart of innovation within the aviation industry, with particular focus on the company’s two ‘World-first’ products, MFlow Track and MFlow Journey.

Operational in major airports such as London Gatwick Airport and London City Airport, MFlow Track and MFlow Journey utilise innovative, cutting-edge biometric technologies to help enhance airport security, operational efficiency and the overall passenger experience.

MFlow Track incorporates multi-modal biometric eGates, including ‘iris-at-a-distance’ technology (a World-first) to automate the secure and fast flow of passengers through restricted areas within an airport, whilst MFlow Journey utilises passive facial recognition technology (another World-first) to track and measure people flow throughout an airport in order to provide real-time operational intelligence and queue time information.

This recent ‘Best Innovator’ award is not the first time that Human Recognition Systems has been recognised by the Aviation Operators Association. The biometrics company was previously awarded the AOA ‘Best Small Business’ accolade in 2011 as well as for having the ‘Best Exhibition Stand’ at the event in 2010.

Jim Slevin, Aviation Business Unit Manager of Human Recognition Systems who collected the award commented “HRS is unashamedly delighted to have been recognised by the AOA for the third year running, not least as this award specifically recognises the bottom line improving innovations we have delivered to our airport customers.”

Human Recognition Systems are truly overjoyed by this latest achievement and very much look forward to helping their current and future clients to transform their airport operations with the aid of the innovative MFlow suite of products.

Ends.
