Date 05.11.2012

Human Recognition Systems were kept busy as they exhibited at this years’ Biometrics 2012 exhibition in London earlier this week, the tenth year in a row in which the UK’s leading independent biometric technology company has exhibited at the event since being founded in 2001.

As the doors opened at 9am on the first day, Human Recognition Systems’ stand soon generated much interest amongst visitors, delegates and exhibitors alike as the company demonstrated its impressive array of portable biometric platforms and advanced facial recognition products.

Of particular interest was Human Recognition Systems’ ground-breaking MFlow Journey platform, a world-first solution which recently helped the biometrics company collect two prestigious awards in as many weeks for its work at the heart of innovation. The ‘game changing’ platform continued to pull in the crowds as demonstrations showed visitors how long it had taken them to travel from one side of the HRS stand to the other. Operational in key airports such as London Gatwick Airport and London City Airport, MFlow Journey utilises passive facial recognition technology to track and measure people flow, providing real-time passenger journey and queue measurement information to help reduce queue times and bottlenecks.

Human Recognition Systems also demonstrated a selection of their portable and robust biometric platforms including MSite Lite and MForce which have been designed to facilitate mobile identity verification in the most remote and harshest of environments, suitable for mining, construction and military applications amongst others.

During the event , Human Recognition Systems’ Founder and Head of Innovation, Neil Norman co-presented with former Manchester Airport Customer Service Director, Mike Fazackerley, as they delivered a presentation entitled, ‘Ticketless travel – for the future or for now?’, discussing the potential application of an entirely ticketless transport system within the aviation industry.

Whilst it was the company’s 10th year at the well-known event, it was the first for Human Recognition Systems’ new CEO, John Tonkiss and for new Sales & Marketing Director, Paul Goodrich, whom commented

“The two day exhibition was a great opportunity for John and I to meet with many of our key technology partners helping us to deliver our award-winning solutions.

“We look forward to continued growth with our partners as we develop a number of innovative solutions that allow our clients to realise business performance improvements from identity assurance.”
