I AM solution offers individual identification certainty to the aviation sector

Human Recognition Systems (HRS) is pleased to announce that Neil Norman, the company’s innovative founder, has been re-appointed as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. Neil Norman’s appointment will be instrumental in establishing HRS’ Identity Assured Management (I AM) product suite as the global standard for the safe and effective management of controlled working environments.

Neil has worked closely over the past year with predecessor John Tonkiss to develop a new and exciting strategic vision for the company, repurposing HRS with a renewed goal as a provider of enterprise-class identity assured products for controlled working environments. HRS’ I AM solution is built on the core functions of trusted identity, certified capability and verified access and has been developed specifically for use by the aviation, construction and oil and gas sectors. Utilising biometric technology, I AM delivers absolute certainty of individual identification and mitigates risk for companies by ensuring that the right person, with the right skills, is working in the right place at the right time.

“2014 represents the launch and realisation of the I AM strategy, enabling a long-held vision to bring enterprise class, biometrical-enabled, industry-focussed solutions to market and establish Human Recognition Systems as a world leader in large-scale, non-Government Commercial Off-The-Shelf solutions,” states Neil Norman. “With the launch of I AM, we continue our commitment to constant technological innovation through the development of robust and secure ways to manage identity, and as CEO I will ensure that the I AM strategy is driven primarily by the cloud-enablement of HRS’s core platforms MTrust, MSite, MFlow and MForce over the course of 2014.”

John Tonkiss, who is moving on to join the Board of McCarthy & Stone and will continue to work with Neil Norman on the future strategy of HRS, states, “I inherited a highly innovative and entrepreneurial business and I am confident that I am leaving a refreshed company that has a clear vision and a new commercial platform ready to scale. My contribution is complete and I now pass over to Neil Norman whose passion and knowledge of the business will enable the realisation of the I AM  Strategy.”

“I have been honoured to work with, observe and learn from an incredible talent in John Tonkiss, and now have the opportunity to apply these learnings to a strategy I believe will put HRS on the global map,” adds Neil Norman. “Expect to hear a lot about our I AM Strategy as it unfolds and it comes alive in the form of products. The innovation that the market and our customers have come to expect is about to go into hyper drive and we intend to drive development and adoption of biometric solutions in the commercial sector, stealing the limelight from the large-scale public sector programmes. Watch this space for some big announcements and contract awards.”
