Zoeftig began the New Year with the delivery and installation of several hundred Zenky seats and tables to London Southend Airport for its brand new terminal extension which is due to be officially opened by Prime Minister David Cameron within the next few weeks.
As part of a six-year regeneration, the £10m project to extend Southend Airport’s terminal building by 90 meters will provide a new arrivals and baggage reclaim area, more security space, additional check-in desks and an expanded departure lounge.
The airport selected our world-famous Zenky beam seating with standard width upholstery in blue, together reversible compact laminate tables (pictured).
Recently rated ‘Which? Best Small UK Airport’, these increased facilities will help London Southend maintain its reputation for great service and top-class airport design, as air traffic continues to grow.
