Zoeftig has just shipped the first phase of Zenky+ seating to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport as part of a long term relationship with the airport.

Together with several black quartz tables and integrated power outlets, Zoeftig will deliver thousands of Zenky+ seats to Minneapolis-St. Paul over the next few years, as the airport works towards its $1.5b Long Term Comprehensive Plan, which involves reconfiguring Terminal 1’s lobby, and expanding Terminal 2 to accommodate up to 26 additional gates.

MSP is already one of the United States’ busiest airports, serving 135 nonstop domestic & international markets and 33 million passengers a year. So it needs seating that will stand the test of time. Across the organisation, environmental sustainability is also regarded as extremely important.

Almost every component used in Zenky+ is recyclable, while the modular nature of the system means that the seating can be easily reconfigured should future requirements change.
