Human Recognition Systems (HRS), the UK’s independent leader in biometric solutions, is working hard this Christmas helping UK airports to keep passengers moving.
As the airports face their busiest time of the year with an estimated 4.25 million people travelling over the Christmas and New Year holiday MFlow solutions from HRS make life easier for passengers. Built for the aviation industry its solutions are based on measuring and managing passenger flow.
Seven of the UK’s top ten airports have already deployed a solution from Human Recognition Systems.
The key benefit to passengers will be in the airports that have deployed MFlow Journey, which uses non-intrusive facial recognition to help airports address the continuous challenge of understanding and measuring queues. By knowing when queues are becoming a bottleneck the airport can take action to deploy more staff or open more areas. At Gatwick airport MFlow Journey drives the display boards showing queue times, enabling passengers to pick and choose the lane they want to use, so they can get through the security process as quickly as possible and have more time to spend relaxing or shopping.
James Saxton, Human Recognition Systems’ Product Strategy Director, said “It’s great at this time of year to know that the work we have done in Gatwick and other airports is helping passengers, by removing part of the stress of their journey, and helping airports who are working extra hard to reduce queues and deploy staff in the right areas.
He added “We pride ourselves on developing solutions based on biometrics that improve the use of identity management for security process and bringing business advantages to organisations. We feel strongly that Santa himself could benefit from talking to us about biometric solutions before next Christmas!”
As Santa works hard finalising his list of good children to deliver toys to he could benefit from talking to Human Recognition Systems about its MForce solution. MForce provides mobile biometric capture and authentication – next year he might want to have a biometric register of all those naughty children to exclude from his list, and authentication would only mean the good children got presents. MForce is a fully mobile solution and works in the harshest of environments, so he wouldn’t have to worry about it not working in the North Pole or in the desert.
Santa might also be interested in deploying MSite access control and workforce reporting for his toy factory, he’d be confident of the correct time and attendance reporting of all his elves and know they had all their health and safety credentials before allowing them access to the factory. With MSite he’d even be able to report their travel to work emissions so he can be confident in his operation being as green as possible.
Season’s Greetings from all at Human Recognition Systems.
