HRS collect their award from the Editor of the LDP

Human Recognition Systems (HRS) has scooped the Liverpool Daily Post 'Small business of the year' at their Regional Business Awards, which was hosted by former BBC journalist John Sergeant in the city's Anglican Cathedral, [23 June 2011].

“In our nine-year history in Liverpool, this is the first time we've been recognised in these prestigious awards by our local newspaper and their sponsors for the success of our business,” said Neil Norman, CEO of HRS. “This means a lot to us so at HRS, we received the award with great pride.”

The winning prize was awarded by the newspaper's business editor, Bill Gleeson to Neil who was accompanied by chief operating officer, Simon Meyer and business solutions director, James Saxton.

HRS was also shortlisted to the final three in another category: the Liverpool John Moores University Knowledge Business of the Year but lost out to the excellent pharmaceutical research firm Redx Pharma.

“The award night was exhilarating because the cathedral's setting was very grand and auspicious but it was also great to feel part of the business community and to be recognised for all the hard work that everyone at HRS invests into the company. We feel very honoured,” said Neil.
