Since October 2010 Mijksenaar has been working on the new wayfinding of Geneva International Airport

As a first step in the redesign of the airport's wayfinding system, Mijksenaar performed an analysis of the current situation at the Swiss airport.
The analysis exists of a study of the existing wayfinding system, to assess its strenghts and weaknesses, as well as describing the processes passengers follow while navigating their way through the airport. 

Currently a new wayfinding system is being developed. In this new system the colour-coding scheme will be redefined to include ground transport and the special French sector. Also a new terminology will be developed, to serve (mainly) non-French speakers and in line with passenger processes.

By the end of this year all passengers will be able to enjoy the new system and find their way in a comfortable manner.
