Singapore—Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) has recently awarded a contract to ARINC for the maintenance of passenger and check-in systems at the airport. The technologies deployed at the airport include ARINC's industry-leading vMUSE™ common use system for check-in and departure, and BagLink™ baggage messaging technology. The solutions are designed to simplify and automate Centrair’s passenger processes and at the same time provide cost efficiencies for the airport.

Under the contract, ARINC Managed Services, LLC (AMS) will provide the support to maintain the various passenger technologies in place at the airport. Central Japan International Airport Centrair is the main airport serving Nagoya and the Chubu region of Japan. It hosts domestic, regional and international passenger and cargo services for more than 20 airlines. The airport was recently named Best Regional Airport in Asia for 2012 by the Skytrax World Airport Awards.
