London Luton Airport has awarded a three year contract to OCS to provide services for people with reduced mobility (PRM). 

“This is OCS’s first contract with London Luton Airport,” said the company’s Operations Director Eddie Ratcliffe.  “We have a strong reputation and proven track record in providing PRM services to 11 other UK and Ireland airports.  These were strong credentials when bidding for this contract and, together with our innovative proposal, demonstrated our unique capabilities to undertake this contract.”

London Luton Airport is the UK’s 5th largest passenger airport and over 9 million passengers used the airport last year for international and domestic flights.  It is the fastest growing major airport in the London area and second only to Heathrow for business travel.  The airport was also recently announced by the Mayor of London as one of 35 locations to host Olympic London Ambassadors.  It is expected to be a significant transport hub for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, welcoming travelling athletes and guests attending the events.
