Airport Towing Trucks For Material Handling

Company Jungheinrich AG
Date 16.03.2015

Jungheinrich is showcasing its competence in software and IT hardware for the warehouse environment at the CeBIT 2015 trade show (running from March 16th to 20th in Hanover, Germany). The Jungheinrich Warehouse Management System (WMS) forms the centrepiece of the Hamburg-based enterprise’s appearance on a stand measuring nearly 50 square metres of display space (hall 5, stand C34). The system manages, controls and optimises the various warehouse procedures and ensures sustainably efficient and simple processes. The Jungheinrich WMS system communicates with the industrial trucks in a warehouse via wireless data transmission and standard interfaces.

Apart from the traditional integration of industrial trucks with warehouse management systems (Industry 4.0 aka Advanced Manufacturing), the Jungheinrich WMS is now also capable of integrating vertical lift systems, including the Jungheinrich Lift Racking (LRK) and Jungheinrich Paternoster Racking (PRK) systems. These two rack systems expand the Jungheinrich range of dynamic warehouse and supply systems, thus occupying a further intralogistics field and rounding out the company’s intralogistics systems product portfolio.

At the Jungheinrich stand during CeBIT, visitors will be able to see integrated and holistic intralogistics solutions for manual and fully automated warehouses and get a feel for how complex logistics projects can be successfully implemented in just eight weeks’ time.

Jungheinrich ranks among the world’s leading companies in the material handling equipment, warehousing and material flow engineering sectors. The company is an intralogistics service and solution provider with manufacturing operations, which offers its customers a comprehensive range of forklift trucks, logistics systems, services and advice. Jungheinrich shares are traded on all German stock exchanges.
