Airport Towing Trucks For Material Handling

Jungheinrich is returning as an exhibitor at the Munich-based “drinktec” show this year, where the Hamburg-based enterprise will be showcasing logistics solutions designed especially for the beverage industry (hall A5, stand 327). “drinktec” – billed as the “World Fair for Beverage and Liquid Food Technology” – runs from September 16th to 20th. The focus at this year’s Jungheinrich stand will be on counterbalanced trucks in the lifting capacity class up to five tonnes.

Jungheinrich will be displaying its EFG 430 and EFG 550 electric counterbalanced trucks at the show. A main feature of both trucks’ design is the Pure Energy concept, which employs the latest generation of environmentally friendly Jungheinrich three-phase AC engineering. This  proprietary feature by Jungheinrich consists of a finely tuned interplay between motor and electronic control system. High-frequency actuation of the three-phase AC motors delivers extremely high cost efficiency results.

Jungheinrich will also be showcasing its series 4 and 5 hydrostatic-drive counterbalanced trucks at drinktec 2013. At the heart of these trucks is a Volkswagen engine which is employed in both the diesel (DFG) and LPG (TFG) versions, while the variable displacement pumps and wheel motors are supplied by Bosch Rexroth. The truck’s control system allows for top performance while yielding a maximum of energy efficiency – a feature made possible by Jungheinrich’s own specially developed software.
