Almost all conventional ventilation systems operate according to the "mixing" principle. Fresh air which is brought into the room, with dirty air mixed therein. This mixture circulates several times (up to 60 times) throughout the space before it eventually disappears from the exhaust.
A dozen years, people in the development and refinement of a new system is working: displacement ventilation.

Operation is simple: clean, fresh air is introduced directly at ground level. Rises by gradual warming of the air where the air is extracted and can be reused for heat.
