Namsos Airport
ACAMS was installed in the new control tower at Namsos airport in 2000. The tower cabin has two independant ACAMS EOPS positions. The installed ACAMS-system is fully redundant with dual servers, dual networks and two 18" LCD screens in each position.
ACAMS computers and other technical equiment is installed in two technical rooms: one below the tower cabin, and in the main technical room on the first floor.
Normal traffic operations was not disrupted during the installation process at Namsos.
