Orly Sud Complete Baggage Handling System

New design and turn-key production by ALFYMA for the new "Carré Horizon" check-in area in the South Terminal of the Paris-Orly airport. The systems will allow two short or medium-range courier flights to be processed simultaneously, improving processing conditions for flights during this summer's high-traffic periods. ALFYMA handled the project from A to Z: CAD technical study, construction, on-site installation and assistance during operational start-up.

Alfyma managed all the technical aspects (mechanical, electro-mechanical, automated systems technology and safety) of the design and installation, and delivered a turn-key installation by the agreed deadline.  

Today ALFYMA constructs complete baggage handling lines and carrousels for French and international customers. They find in Alfyma a responsive single point of contact, capable of ensuring the design, installation, modification and maintenance of their systems with unsurpassed reliability.

To ensure that baggage is processed under optimal safety conditions, Alfyma designed, produced and installed a new conveyor, complete with scanner, for the baggage sorting area. The new system saves time and facilitates the mass processing of baggage, thus avoiding baggage handling errors.
