Anti-Glare Roller Blinds For Air Traffic Control Towers

Reflex-Rol U.K. a division of De Leeuw Ltd. of Ryeford , Ross-on-Wye in England, has been awarded contracts for their ‘Aviation’ shading systems for a further 2 towers.
The first one is very ‘close to home’ indeed.

The owners and Air Traffic Controllers of the London-Oxford Airport in Oxfordshire have placed a contract with Reflex-Rol U.K. for the design, manufacture and installation of their Aviation type glare, dazzle and heat control systems in their tower VCR. All units are to be motorized.

We will report further once all is installed and commissioned.

The second tower is a little further a field. The company has been awarded the contract to install its systems in the tower VCR at Minhad, just a little South of Dubai.

The contract calls for design, manufacture and installation. To this end the company surveyor will fly to the Emirates very shortly to take precise measurements prior to manufacture. Once manufactured they will be shipped out, followed by our own installation team to complete the contract.
