AOA Award “Best Manufacturer” goes to the ASH Group

It is known as the Oscars among the awards in the Airport Industry: the AOA Award. Each year the Airport Operators Association announces the awards grouped into eight categories during a festive ceremony in London. The Association rewards the “best” in the Airport Industry.

The renowned Broadcaster and Travel Editor of the Independent Newspaper, Simon Calder, announced this year’s award winner of the coveted Best Manufacturer Category: The ASH Group. The judging panel not only took into consideration performance and excellence of the products but also customer service, delivering processes and after-sales. Furthermore, aspects such as meeting the specific needs of an airport operator, continuous development and product quality were considered. The ASH Group submission focused on their green credentials, in particular Schmidt’s green TJS-C Towed Jet Sweeper, powered by a mixture of biogas and biodiesel and the industry leading Total Lifetime Care (TLC) ethos. They also gained recognition for their impressive work with Dublin Airport over the past twelve months. Mike Moore, International Key Account Manager and David Harvey, Technical Sales Manager of Aebi Schmidt UK accepted the trophy of behalf of the Aebi Schmidt Group at the Awards Ceremony in London.
