Materials: Hot-dip galvanized or coated steel, stainless steel, aluminium,
concrete (also as steel-concrete composite structure)as required
or preferred for the designated application
Additional coatings (against aggressive media, for optical reasons or
to avoid slipping) can be provided upon request
   

 

Without assist-lift, as single or multi-leaf design:
   
  Main use: In cases of infrequent opening. (For lifting of larger/heavier covers, suitable hoisting gear is required)
   
  Examples of use: Cable pit covers, revision openings
   
  Sizes: From 300 x 300 mm clear opening up to almost any size
   
  Cover surface: Solid (metal) top or recessed cover for site filling
   
  Tightness: as per requirement, number of cover leafs and size:
– surface-waterproof, flood-proof, backflow-proof
– Integration of tight auxilliary covers into main cover is also possible
   
  Fire resistance / Thermal insulation / Sound insulation: available upon request
   
  Options: e.g. drainage of frames or steel-concrete composite structures as prefabricated component parts

With assist-lift, as single or multi-leaf designs
   
  Use: For frequent cover opening, in principle possible by a single person
Larger covers and heavier covers require operation by two persons
   
 

Examples of use: Loading hatches, emergency exits, access and exit hatches,
smoke exhaust flaps, revision openings, maintenance flaps
– For cover lifting – depending on type of application – gas rams, spring mechanisms
or counter-weights are used as assist-lift – but fully hydraulic opening systems are
available also.
– All covers are equipped with a mechanical stay-save device to avoid accidental dropping.
   
  Sizes: From 600 x 600 mm up to approx.2.000 x 6.000 mm
Special sizes available upon request.
   
  Single and multi-leaf units: Available in varying sizes and weights

With automatic cover opening, as single or multiple leaf design:
   
  – Hydraulic access covers and frame
– Access cover units with electric hoist motor
– Access cover units with counter-weight drive
   
  Use: For frequent opening generally, for required opening, desired one-man opening
on site – or for automatic opening by remote control, (e.g. from fire alarm center)
   
  Examples of use: Loading hatches, emergency escape exits, access and exit hatches,
smoke extraction flaps, wood chips bunkers, revision openings, maintenance hatches.
– For cover lifting, depending on place and kind of application, we can offer hydraulic
  systems, electric lifting cylinders or counter-weight drive.
– All covers are equipped with a safety stay to avoid accidental dropping.
   
  Sizes: From 800 x 800 mm up to almost any size
   
  Single and multi-leaf units: Available in varying sizes and weights
   
  Materials: Hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminium, concrete.
   
  Tightness: as per requirement, number of cover leafs and size:
– surface-waterproof, flood-proof, backflow-proof
   
  Fire resistance / Thermal insulation / Sound insulation: available upon request
   
  Options: Fall protection, as grating or barrier, heating ribbon in gap between cover and frame, optical
and acoustical warning devices, integration into fire detection and error control systems.
Further Option: Cover/frame executed as prefabricated steel-concrete composite component
