Copperchase is pleased to announce the securing of a contract to supply an ATS Aeronautical Message Handling System (AMHS) for Airports in Angola.

Working with its Long-Term Partners Telescan of Portugal, Copperchase is supplying AMHS and AFTN communications equipment for 3 Angolan International Airports Dundo, Luena and Saurimo as part of the countries airport infrastructure re-development plan with options for further installations.

Native X.400 messaging is supported as well as the AMHS-AFTN services of the Copperchase AMHS-AFTN Gateway product AMHSGATE. It is anticipated that this installation will be a significant African element of the wider, global uptake of AMHS.

The project has successfully completed Factory Acceptance testing and is awaiting delivery to Angola for final installation and Site Acceptance testing.
