SG BODY COMPACT: Safety has never been so compact and efficient

Datalogic Automation is pleased to announce the introduction of  SG BODY COMPACT the new family of safety light curtains for body protection and access control able to rapidly and effectively solve all the industrial safety applications mainly in automotive field, packaging and material handling.

SG BODY COMPACT perfectly combines vanguard technology, extremely high performances and DATALOGIC distinctive SAFEasy™ concept.

The new SG BODY COMPACT safety light curtains evolve and complete SE4 BODY.

The new series with 2, 3 and 4 beams with controlled height of 500, 800, 900 and 1200mm reaches 50m  of  operating distance. The distance is a fundamental requirements as well as easy installation, connection, configuration and use.

SG BODY “COMPACT” safety light curtains present fully embedded electronics and do not require programming of the safety functions that are fully integrated and WIRE or DIP SWITCHES selectable.

SG BODY “COMPACT” series guarantees total compatibility with SE4 together with improved performances inside a really compact profile.

SG BODY “COMPACT” family drastically reduces the overall plant costs (components, cabling and configuration) thanks to its extremely installation easiness.

SG BODY REFLECTOR: Safety have never been so innovative!

Datalogic Automation announces the introduction of  SG BODY REFLECTOR the new family of safety light curtains for body protection and access control with complete passive unit.

Taking advantage of new housing together with the innovative design optical-electronic platform, SG BODY RELFECTOR ensures the performance of high-level safety light curtain required in the material handling market.

Beside the classical TX-RX models with operating distance reaching up to 60m of SG BODY “BIG” TX-RX, SG BODY REFLECTOR series offers 2, 3 and 4 beams models made by an active unit and a complete passive unit, with integrated moulded plastic mirrors, reaching up to 8m with 500, 800, 900 and 1200mm controlled height.

All SG BODY REFLECTOR models are provided in 2 different versions :

– BASE version that represents the ideal product for all applications where Muting function is not required but EDM, MANUAL/AUTOMATIC restart are fundamental;

– MUTING version that integrates the Muting function and completes it with all advanced features associated to (i.e. ‘L’ o ‘T’ configurations, edged or triggered Override and external Muting).

Moreover, thanks to the new profile active and passive units of SG BODY REFLECTORhave finally the same width and same height guaranteeing though vertical and horizontal mechanical alignment.

Today online the Chinese version of the Datalogic Automation Website!

Datalogic Automation is glad to announce that its website is now available in Chinese version.

On line since February, the new Datalogic Automation website has been translated intoChinese in order to help its customers to choose the solution that suits its needs.

The new  website can be accessed from the usual web address: http://www.automation.datalogic.com  selecting the Chinese language from the combo box in the upper right side.

The structure of the new Chinese website is the same as in English, only the download section is common with the English version, and here you can find all documents in all available languages.

To facilitate the research of datasheet, manual, leaflet, etc, for every product the documents are linked both in English and Chinese, when available.

Datalogic Automation at Post Expo 2010 – Copenhagen, Denmark

Datalogic Automation will be present at the 14th edition of POST EXPO, exhibition recognised as the world’s leading annual event for the international postal, express and mailing industry.

Our booth (Booth 2196) will host all 3 Divisions: Automation, Mobile and Scanning, which will present their products range, especially for Transportation & Logistics sector.

Datalogic Automation Benelux moves to Culemborg!

Datalogic Automation Benelux branch, supplier of stationary barcode scanners, camera systems, RFID products and sensors, moves to Culemborg on the 8th of September.
