Platform Sales & Hire recently sold a fleet of aerial work platforms to Ryan Air in Prestwick, Scotland for use in its new hangar extension. We delivered a total of 12 machines to the airport: two boom lifts and 10 scissor lifts which will allow the company to maintain its aircraft and equipment in the new hangar. The 10 JLG 1930Es battery powered electric micro scissor lifts are ideal for easy manoeuvring around busy areas and are especially useful for their extended battery life, while the two Genie 45/25J articulated boom lifts provide up and over access for working at height. Last year we also provided Ryan Air’s Stanstead base with five scissor lifts and a Genie boom lift.
