Aviation Fuel Management Solutions

The new FuelPlus Release 4.3.3 will be delivered in the beginning of May. The release brings again many enhancements and also comes with an extensive modularization of the product in order to configure the FuelPlus system exactly according to airline requirements.

The most important enhancements are:

Planning for Emissions: The FuelPlus EU ETS module already available in release 4.3.2 is now complete and allows for planning of emissions in addition to monitoring and reporting. In order to forecast emissions, the system loads future flight schedules and calculates expected consumption and emissions using the statistical consumption and uplift of previous periods.

Storage Management: The storage management has been enhanced with a new calculation method. Out prices and closing values can now be calculated either with the already available averaging method, or by using the FIFO (First In First Out) method. The FIFO method keeps track of all deliveries into and out of the storage and determines prices and values accordingly. Each storage can be set up individually either for averaging or FIFO calculation.

Modularization: FuelPlus EFM comes with a complete set of functions to manage all aspects of fuel management of an airline. Up to now, FuelPlus EFM was delivered as a monolith system with the option to add some optional modules such as SCM, Tender, or ETS. With the rising demand to enable the configuration of FuelPlus EFM to the specific needs of different types of airlines, this schema seemed not to be adequate anymore. Therefore, we decided to separate the system into different modules, allowing new customers to pick exactly those functions they need. Based on this modularization, it is very easy now to start with a kernel implementation of FuelPlus and add additional modules over time.
