After many years of operations in the South West Pacific BP's interest are being sold to a French Polynesian based Oil Company , Pacific Petroleum Company, which will be trading under the name Pacific Energy SWP. The business will be taken over from the opening of business on 25th May and as such from this date Air BP & the rest of BP will no longer be represented in the Pacific Islands.
As it is a whole of business sale of the shares of BP South West Pacific all of the local operators, staff & equipment are being retained by the new company so we anticipate it to be a very smooth transition operationally.
