Herbert Systems, working with IO Systems and local distributors Al Ahmadiah Contracting and Trading, has just completed the project to design, build and install 116 Herbert TRS, fully integrated, highly flexible modular automatic tray return systems at Dubai International Airport.
The Herbert TRS features simple ‘plug and play’ technology that is designed around the needs of operators, allowing them to increase throughput and enhance the passenger experience by better controlling the flow of people, while also reducing queuing. Following completion of the initial project, further lane enhancements have been made, by extending the length quickly and efficiently, which demonstrates the benefits of the modular concept design of the TRS.
The new Dubai International TRS installation is the biggest one of its kind in the world.
