UK-based Herbert Systems, leaders in innovative products for the airport industry, are unveiling their latest innovation in airport technology at the forthcoming Passenger Terminal Expo on the 18th – 20th April in Vienna.

The Pathfinda Vision is a new baggage and parcel alignment system that has been specifically developed to increased throughput by providing more accurate baggage and parcel alignment needed for smaller screening tunnels.

The innovative system features a state of the art camera vision system, which accurately measures baggage and quickly aligns it, ensuring a constant high throughput is obtained, as well as storing data and images, which can be stored for further analysis.

Designed to be installed prior to baggage X-ray units at security checkpoints, the Pathfinda Vision can be simply integrated into existing equipment.  It uses an ultra-fast camera controlled orientation process, which negates manual handling and these low levels of operator intervention are particularly user-friendly.

The Pathfinda Vision will be on the Scarabee Systems & Technology stand, no 6180 at Passenger Terminal Expo. Herbert Systems can be found on Stand 6005 where they are showcasing the TRS automatic tray return system.
